General
Our raw materials are sourced in Guinea, as close as possible to their production areas.Depending on the product, our sourcing network includes key production areas such as Boké, Kankan, Macenta, N’Zérékoré and Lola. This proximity to origin allows us to better understand the products, their production conditions and the stakeholders across our supply chain.
Yes. SILEAT’s model is built on an operational presence and local network in Guinea, enabling us to identify production areas, select suppliers and local partners, and monitor raw materials before export. Our objective is to build long-term relationships with our partners at origin while meeting the requirements of our international customers.
Quality begins at the selection stage. Depending on the product and the buyer’s requirements, various parameters may be checked, including moisture content, appearance, size or grade, drying conditions, fermentation, storage conditions, as well as certain microbiological criteria or contaminants.Where required, additional analyses may be carried out prior to shipment. Applicable specifications are stated in the technical data sheet or agreed with the buyer before order confirmation.
Traceability is one of SILEAT’s core principles. We work to identify the origin of each lot and document the key stages of our supply chain, from the sourcing area through to export. The level of documentation and traceability available is specified according to the product, the lot and the buyer’s requirements.
Lots intended for the European market are prepared in accordance with the regulatory requirements applicable to the product and destination market.Depending on the product and the buyer’s requirements, controls or analyses may cover pesticide residues, contaminants, mycotoxins, microbiological criteria, or other applicable regulatory parameters. Specific requirements are confirmed prior to order placement.
Depending on the product, destination and contractual terms, the shipping documentation may include a commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate where required, transport documents, and analysis results or a Certificate of Analysis (COA) when applicable.Additional documents may also be considered depending on the requirements of the importing country or the buyer.
Certifications do not automatically apply to all SILEAT products. When a buyer requires a specific certification — such as organic, Fairtrade or another recognised standard — this requirement should be specified at the quotation stage so that we can verify the availability of a supply chain or lot that meets the requested certification.
Mixed-load options are assessed on a case-by-case basis. They depend in particular on product compatibility, storage requirements, packaging, available volumes, and the applicable regulatory and logistical requirements.Contact us with your specific requirements so that we can assess the most suitable solution.
